Got this Eco-bag from the Smile Project exhibition that time, but din get to draw on it yet.
Today finally get some ink on it! :D

Noise Singapore

Was helping a couple of friends out for Noise Singapore Public Exhibition. We were given this two walls and we decorated it with many many SMILES!
Here is the idea, You can take any smiles you like from the walls, and make sure you return one with the post it note provided and paste it back at the place where you take the smile from! :)

It was really fun experience. and was glad to see so many return post it with interesting and some heart-warming messages~ :)

I was suppose to post it after they all have received my cards, but I forgot about it (due to all the gatherings and   new year partying) :X

I'm glad they like it. each card was drawn from my point of view of them and their favourite thing.

and of cos with heart-warming messages to each of them ^^

Nescafe latte

A sketch of a very nice latte i bought from a nearby store

It was having a short period sale, selling 2 for $2.70.

I should have bought more to stock up. 

oh well.

New sketch

Came back from work a moment ago and the urge to paint something came up before i could even rest my feet.

And before my butt could even warm the seat, a random sketch was quickly done and first layer of colours went into the paper.

I guess i am too happy that i am having a off day tomorrow from work :D

yay~~

Its been sometime since i upload something from my sketchbook :X

The last entry was dunno how long ago. haha 

These stuff are the stuff on my office table. mug, biscuit container and a candy container  :P

It's time of the year again.

CNY card

every card have different bunny illustration

 It's the time of the year where everywhere on the streets are filled with red decorations for the CNY,
and of cos, my mum will buy CNY card to send out, and of course, as usual, I'm the one who have to do the writing. In the past, my writing is the nicest among siblings so i am the one writing it, but i realise my handwriting got worst after i enter poly, we spend more time on drawing than writing. :P lol
but still i am the one who still have to write these greeting cards =X

this year round, i added bunny illustrations~ cos the card looks too boring =_=
and so it turn out this way~ :P

Bunny is feeling cold

 

In the office, my desk is just right in front of the air-con 

and everyday my desk is in the winter season.

serious!

even the papers are flapping by themselves on the table! 

imagine how cold it is?

and all along i am quite proud that my body is strong enough against the coldness

but it seem that i'm gonna get defeat soon.

sigh. 

please, i dun wanna get sick this festive season~

Peek into sketch book #05

the 5th post of my sketch book.

Out of no where an idea strikes me and my hand itch to draw something about hour glass.

It was about during poly days, a lecturer always says: "No Money, No Honey."

and there is this old saying goes: "Time waits for no man." 

then i combined these two phrases into one doodle.

the sand in hourglass in the form of money representing the TIME and its draining away and a man trying to save the "money" which also means trying to turn back the time or to savage the time.

but apparently its almost impossible because the money (time) is drifting away faster than he can try to save.

sometime i just feel that time is running out for me.

and i should not be what i am now, i should be even more that what i should be.

like better in design skill, a better me, better confidence, and knowing what i already want.

 but its seem that i'm still floating around and figuring it out.

A bag i did for my friend's 24th Birthday.

Because she thinks pig is e most cutest thing on earth

and i also combine 1 element from her personality

which is "Blur-ness"

it amuse me sometime to see how a person who is only one year older than me can get so blur!

I'm glad she likes the bag a lot and went showing off to everyone she sees

Black coffee rocks!

Many people gave me faces when i ordered Ice Americano in Starbucks 

or pick up any black coffee from convenience store or cafe.

"Oh my gosh~! why do you drink black coffee?! That's for elderly!!"

They told me. I will be like "Why the hell in e world i cant drink black coffee?! Its NICE!! not too sweet like the other kind of coffee."

"But its BITTER!!"

"Well, i like it"

"You are weird!"

Back to basic

There isn't much work today, and suddenly have the mood to do some basic painting...
thus producing this work; its my first time trying to paint a glass of plain water. O_O
it still look pretty plain la.. but going to knock off soon already.so post it b4 i get lost from e office (lol)
besides painting, also surfing thru the net for tutorials and tip on how to paint/draw better. =)
there are some pretty nice ones. maybe i can learn tml if i'm this free again ^^

okie.. gotta go~
